In this fun and vibrant wheel throwing class we aspire for our guests to find peace and release their inner child while discovering the mindful and meditative benefits of playing with clay. Join us @ Print Paint Pot, Sydney’s most relaxing pottery studio.

This 2 hour pottery class @ Print Paint Pot is great value which includes an apron, unlimited clay use and a complete glazed stoneware pot per guest.

Print Paint Pot's wheel classes are Ideal for folks with zero experience who want to try the wheel to see if they like it before taking on a four-week course to learn all about trimming, carving, glazing and so much more.

The wheel can be a tricky one to learn, guests are unlikely to master it in just a single session. Print Paint Pot do provide unlimited balls of clay for unlimited attempts. Allowing guests to keep practicing! Because, the more you do the better you get.

Print Paint Pot feel a 2 hour session is the ideal amount of time to properly learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing and understand the delicate stages of stoneware ceramics. Print Paint Pot's patient and experienced teachers take the time to teach all guests tips and tricks that make learning wheel throwing fun and satisfying.

Or if you're looking for a pottery wheel warm-up class Print Paint Pot now have a new clay and sip hand building pottery class. Typically students that have done a handbuilding class develop an understanding and sensitivity to the clay making them a little more prepared for a wheel throwing class.

Please note: In the unlikely event the class exceeds 8 guests to accommodate requests, we will ensure you have the most experienced, friendliest and welcoming teacher(s) for an intimate experience.

* 1 fired pot is available with the ticket price, additional pots are available for $15 and postage options are available (cost is calculated depending on location and number of pots)

* Their class is all about good vibes and fun times in a fun and vibrant studio with friendly and funny teachers with 8+ years experience teaching one-off beginner friendly classes. This studio’s welcoming approach for complete beginners is down to earth and excited to share the joy and wonder of stoneware wheel thrown pottery.

* Kids 8+ are welcome to join class with or without their guardian any session starting before 4pm. Kids under 8 are welcome to attend with a guardian and share a wheel. A fun clay play date with yours kids :)

* Sessions starting 4pm onwards are 18+ making it perfect for date night, girls night or friends and family bonding.

• Glazing and Trimming included in ticket price (no hidden costs, unlike other 90 minute pottery classes that charge for trimming and glazing at the end of class)

• We highly recommend exploring Chatswood’s amazing food options before and/or after class. On Thursday and Friday night Chatswood have an awesome market with lots of delicious snack and food options. Chatswood is also the best place to bus from. A chill downhill walk when taking the bus from Chatswood. Artarmon Station is also option, please keep in mind there is a moderate hill when walking from Artarmon station. Guests can have a fun day out by exploring Chatswood before and/or after class.

• While Print Paint Pot do specialise in Date Night pottery classes. It is good to know this class is also a popular activity for friends catch up, family bonding, team building, birthday celebrations, hens and any celebration.

• Beginner friendly

• Watching / Googling the movie Ghost is recommended to prepare for an optional ‘ Ghost Movie ‘ photo opportunity. Great for a lol :)

• Dress for mess, nails cut short, hair tied back, leaving valuables at home (highly recommended)
