Print Paint Pot’s two-hour pottery wheel class is great value and ideal for anyone with zero experience who wants to try the wheel to see if they like it before taking on a four-week course to learn all the tricks. We provide aprons, and your creations after firing will be microwave, dishwasher, food, and oven safe.
Print Paint Pot is one of the few, if not the only, pottery studios that fire students' work to stoneware temperatures, resulting in the most durable and precious ceramics made by guests attending this class. With unlimited clay, an apron, friendly experienced teachers, a beautifully decorated venue, and stoneware firing, this pottery class with Print Paint Pot is the best value pottery class around Sydney.
The wheel can be a tricky one to learn, so you're unlikely to master it in just a single session. But Print Paint Pot does provide unlimited balls of clay for unlimited attempts because the more you do, the better you get. The clay offered in this class is a buttery soft speckled stoneware clay that magically transforms from a beautiful burnt brown colour to a lovely glossy speckled neutral pot, which is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and food safe after firing. This transformation is truly surprising and a great way to be in awe and wonder of the alchemy that is firing to stoneware temperatures (1200+ degrees).
This two-hour pottery class with Print Paint Pot is an ideal amount of time to learn the foundations of stoneware ceramics and wheel throwing. It includes approximately 15 minutes of studio introduction explaining the pottery process and wheel demonstration, 90 minutes of wheel time, and 15 minutes for cleaning up your wheel and photo opportunities at the end of your class.
Valentine's Day Classes are also available at Print Paint Pot's OG Green Studio. Please see Date Night Pottery Class.
Please note:
In the unlikely event the class exceeds 8 guests to accommodate requests, we will ensure you have the most experienced, friendliest and most welcoming teacher(s) for an intimate experience.
Print Paint Pot’s Date Night Clay and Sip Pottery class is the original one-off pottery class available on this online marketplace. With 8 plus years teaching casual wheel throwing classes and a specialty for date night pottery classes, guests can feel assured to create memorable memories and mementos with your special someone.
